You will get three sessions:

Assessing Your Needs

Generic adoption advice online isn't going to cut it. This session is all about YOU! I will ask you important questions to get to know you and understand your hopes for adoption. We will discuss your specific goals, needs, and concerns about adopting from foster care.

Answering Your Questions

We will talk about the adoption agencies in your area, how adoption works in your state, and how adoption could affect your family dynamic, current children, etc. After this session, you will have the confidence you need to take those first steps towards welcoming a child into your home through adoption!

Creating a Plan

We will make a plan for you to have a successful transition into life as an adoptive parent. The plan can be about topics like how to prepare for the home study, help your child adjust into your home, develop a healthy bond, etc. This session will be customized to YOUR needs based on the previous sessions.
